Lokanta Café is a welcoming space for everyone. We want every guest to feel comfortable, whether you’re coming from the beach, the park, a family outing, or a special occasion. This policy exists to keep our guests and staff safe and to ensure a comfortable environment for all.

WHAT WE ASK OF OUR GUESTS

Footwear
For the safety of everyone in our space — including children — we ask that all guests wear footwear when inside Lokanta Café. Our kitchen and dining areas can occasionally have small hazards on the floor, such as broken glass or ceramic, and footwear protects you and those around you. If you've left your shoes at the beach, please speak with a member of our team, and we'll be happy to help.

Beach and swimwear
We ask that guests wear clothing while dining with us. If you're coming from the beach or the water, we kindly ask that you wear a dry cover-up or dry clothing while dining with us. This helps keep our seating comfortable and dry for all guests, and ensures everyone in our family-friendly space feels at ease. We appreciate your consideration.

HOW WE APPLY THIS POLICY

This policy applies equally to all guests regardless of gender, gender expression, body type, age, background, or any other characteristic. It will always be applied respectfully, privately, and without judgment. If we ever need to raise a concern with a guest, we will do so with kindness and discretion.

We will never refuse service or entry on the basis of clothing choices that do not affect the safety or reasonable comfort of other guests.

ACCESSIBILITY

If any aspect of this policy creates a barrier for a guest due to a disability, medical condition, sensory need, or other circumstance, please speak with a member of our team. We will always work to find a solution.
